ShopKind for a Cause: One Extension, Many Causes

ShopKind for a Cause just means a little something extra comes out of it, for a cause you actually care about.

What it is

ShopKind for a Cause is a browser extension from Irrational JT that turns everyday online shopping into support for local causes, at no cost to you. Install it once, pick the cause you want to back, and shop the way you normally do.

It is a new version of the original ShopKind idea. The first version meant building a separate branded extension for each organization, which worked, but it also meant more overhead every time a new cause wanted to join. ShopKind for a Cause fixes that by putting multiple causes into one shared extension. You pick who you are supporting. The tool takes care of the rest.

How it works

Nothing about your shopping changes. You browse and buy like you already do. When you make an eligible purchase, it generates a small commission, the same kind retailers already pay out for referrals. That commission gets split between your chosen cause and ShopKind, which covers the cost of keeping the tool running.

You do not pay anything extra. Prices do not change. You are not being asked to donate. You are just letting a purchase you were already making do a little more than it used to.
